1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I'm not very open on my social media about my personal life but I am going to be 8 years clean on Thanksgiving. (given the date on my right hip)
I have a background on mental illnesses such as manic depression and general anxiety. I struggled a lot growing up. I didn't know how to cope with life around me. But at 18, I cleaned up my act and strived to find a way to deal with my mental illnesses and have a successful life. I got my Bachelor's degree in Marketing and now I work full time as a graphic designer while still modeling on the weekends.
2. What are your biggest passions?
I love art. I am very passionate about being able to create art, whether it be me in front or behind the camera or behind the computer. Art has always been a huge part of my life. Being able to express myself through my art is probably my biggest passion.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I recently started some freelance graphic work and I would love to continue exploring that opportunity. I would love to be able to travel since I've never left the United States before.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success for me is happiness. As long as I am happy with who I am and where I am, then I feel like I succeed. I struggled heavily as a kid and into my teens with finding my happiness and now my main goal in life is to make sure I'm always happy with what I am doing and where I am going. Obviously there will always be some downs but how I handle them now means success for me as well.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I am currently working full time for a clothing company as their graphic designer as well as a freelance graphic designer for another clothing company. I'm currently still modeling on the weekends as well and I have 2 shoots coming up this weekend. I also work behind the scenes on product shoots for clothing companies, helping with styling the models and making sure everything is running smoothly. I am also looking to start a series of photoshoots surrounding the idea of mental illness and portraying how it feels to go through panic attacks, deep depression, anxiety, etc.
