1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I’m afraid of tomatoes. LOL. I know that might sound crazy but seriously, the texture and smell of this “red thing” can make me scream and run away in a few seconds. Tomatoes have this effect on me that not even horror movies can reach.
2. What are your biggest passions?
Art, under its different manifestations: In nature. On screen. On canvas. In headphones. On stage… The power to feel, dream and universally communicate excites me. But my true passion is at the mercy of creating.
I’m very sensitive. I can cry over anything. I can laugh at everything. My surroundings bring out all kinds of feelings in me that I love to transform into a film, photography, play, collage, illustration, GIFF, writing, dance…
I believe my passion revolves around creating art to affect others, the way other artists impact me.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My ultimate goal is to become fully independent. Not only career wise, but also artistically. That’s why I would love (and will) have my own media company. A company not in the corporate way, but in the sense of a community of dreamers and believers who create art that breaks commercial stereotypes of truth and beauty. My goal for the future is to live by my passion.
4. What is your definition of success?
I believe that success is very personal and subjective but if I were to define it, I would say that success is achieved when one contributes in the improvement of something, or even someone-big or small. I will succeed when my art will affect an audience. A mother will succeed when she becomes a grandma. A teenage boy will succeed when he will kiss his crush. The little girl wills succeed when she removes two wheels from her bicycle. A politician will succeed when he conquers the world. To each his own, but to leave an impact in this wold is the true definition of success. Mine happens to be big.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I usually play it by ear. When a certain event occurs, or when I am feeling a certain way, I usually start imagining my situation, almost hallucinating, and end up writing about it or turning it into some kind of visuals. But I also set plans:
I am working on the re-launch of my website, which is very exciting!
Since I will be travelling a lot this summer, I have many upcoming collaborations with international artists, designers, musicians and filmmakers.
Most of all, I am looking forward to the spontaneous projects that always end up my favourite and the most sincere.
