1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I can't ride a bike. I never learned and then I got too old and I could get around in cars just fine and it wasn't necessary anymore. I'd still like to learn someday!
2. What are your biggest passions?
Music is a big one. I'm passionate about art in general. I'm passionate about my friends and about treating people fairly. I used to not be so passionate about politics and social issues but I've been more decisive with what I dedicate myself to lately and I've had a hard time staying silent.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I want to change music for the better. I want to play a role in the direction that popular music, classical, and underground music go in the next few decades. I think it's a unique time to be a musician not just in terms of accessibility and ease of access but also in terms of creative freedom and the ability to move between genres and styles easily through technology.
4. What is your definition of success?
Being comfortable with your life and proud of what you've accomplished / created. It's probably different for everyone.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I'm currently working on new songs and finishing old ones. I'm having to learn new skills like how to mix and spin turntables but also having to re-learn old ones like how to drum and sing falsetto. It's a constant challenge but it's one that I enjoy.
