1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I am a very spiritual person. I meditate before photoshoots, before acting out a scene in a film, before runway shows, before tests in school, and before bed. Meditation helps me get to whatever mindset I need to be in: I can channel emotions, calmness, or focus to help me succeed in life. Nature is a big part of my spirituality and happiness, just being outside and near green life eases my mind after being in the city.
2. What are your biggest passions?
Right now my biggest passions are modeling, acting, and being physically active. In that order. My activities include skating, rock climbing, gynamastics/freerunning, and hiking. All these activities are self-reliant and I can go enjoy them even if no one can join me.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I once heard that if you give something your absolute best for five years, you'll be successful. If you aren't successful after five years of networking and interviewing, then it's a sure sign that whatever path you are taking isn't meant for you and it will be okay to change your career and your future. In five years I would like to be making an income from acting and modeling that allows me to live in the heart of Atlanta, GA. While still making enough on the top to travel the world with my skateboard.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is finding a career that pays just enough (or more) to live minimalistically and happily and doesn't require too many hours so one has time to pursue hobbies. Success also calls for being content when alone with one's thoughts so that you are able to overcome personal demons.
5. Tell us something about the projects you’re working on.
I recently became president of the University of Georgia's student modeling agency. This summer I've been brainstorming all the changes we’re going to do in terms of giving more opportunities for acting, becoming self-sufficient by working with student photographers on campus instead of working with local Athens' photography studios, and planning out our annual fall fashion show. Right now we need to find lighting equipment to make our own studio, male stylists so that we can make our guys even better on the runway than last year, and screenwriters that can make a script with lots of characters so that we can have our talent shoot a short student film together.
