1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I'm an avid writer and always have been. I love using every outlet to tell a story and writing is one of them. To maintain the habit, I submit work and enter competitions often. Sometimes I even make random zines and sprinkle them throughout different cities.
2. What are your biggest passions?
Traveling and creating! There's no better medicine than art and nature, so I make sure I do both often. My favorite is traveling somewhere new and, of course, gaining new inspiration for my art, but also creating with new people along my journeys. It's always fun to see what unfolds when other people get involved.
3. What are your goals for the future?
Honestly, I just want to live the artist's dream of living in a secluded, witchy cabin in the forest and thriving off of my art and music.
4. What is your definition of success?
On the one hand, I'd say success is finishing what you started. There's plenty of projects I've begun and grew way too tired of, but in the end, I felt successful because I didn't give up and was done and could start something new.
To delve deeper, I believe a successful person is one who is able to manifest all that they need and is aligned with what truly makes them happy and doing that everyday. If you can be rich and have the same amount of happiness to money, kudos.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
Aside from my writing, constant art projects, and the band I'm in (Deaf Dance), there's a few personal projects that I'm working really hard on and am so excited about! One is playing with combining painting, Photoshop, and using old school darkroom processes to create unique art. The current series involving that is my modern interpretation of several of Sir Thomas Wyatt's poems and my constant theme of my love/hate relationship with Los Angeles. It's a heavily involved project.
I'm also working on recording my own music, which is turning out to be several projects/bands since I'm writing both acoustic folk and synth punk songs.
