1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I don’t think many people know that when I am not acting and modeling, I work as a substitute teacher! I have so much respect for all of the substitute teachers that I have had over the years, because it is true…students always try to pull things over on the sub. Subbing really makes me think on my toes, which is a skill that definitely comes in hand in the acting world. Although it can be challenging, I have been fortunate to teach some really amazing kids over the past few years!
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Ok so this probably isn’t considered a passion or a hobby, but I absolutely love spending time with my large, crazy family. My mom is one of seven kids, and my dad is one of eight, leaving me with 30 first cousins. My cousins are my favorite people, and most of my best memories surround them.
3. What are your goals for the future?
A short-term goal of mine is to book a role in a feature film. I have worked on a bunch of shorts recently, but I have yet to work on a feature. Another goal of mine is to get legit bi-coastal representation. I have been keeping busy finding my own work over the past few years, but I know the right representation can open new doors and bring opportunities to play even better characters! I also hope to book a national commercial in the near future!
4. What is your definition of success?
I don’t know that I am at a place where I can define success. I think I am trying to figure that out myself…let me know if you have it figured out! Until then, in addition to working hard, I am going to continue to surround myself with the right people. And I think that is a pretty good place to start on the way to success.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I have had the opportunity to work on some really great projects recently. I just wrapped on a short thriller about two girls and an uber (dun dun dun…). I also worked on a bridal styled shoot for a new wedding venue in the DMV area. The venue was breathtaking and I had the chance to wear some amazing bridal gowns. In a couple weeks I have a print shoot for a University’s business school. I also recently auditioned for roles in a couple feature films, so fingers crossed!
