1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Well most people think of me as an extrovert. In real sense i am quite shy and prefer my down time.
On stage, however, something happens that I can't really explain.
2. What are your biggest passions?
I am passionate about music and how it can positively affect my environment socially, politically and economically.
I want my fans to tuuuuurn up to my music. However, i want it to affect their lives positively.
3. What are your goals for the future?
Set up a trust for Folk music, where we can research, document, and showcase folk art, fusions and collaborations.
We are looking to also create a program where we can partner with the local government and residents to have rooftop gardens in all apartment buildings in the residential areas.
Tour the world to tell my story, the african story in the music i play and record.
Win a Grammy.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success to me is the ability to achieve the goals i highlighted earlier on, and influence other people's lives positively in the process.
The privilege of doing the things you are passionate about, making a living a off of it, and being able to create opportunities as well.
