2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I am currently primary majoring in Visual Communication in the School of Art Institute of Chicago. My biggest passion is Graphic Design and Photography. With Graphic Design, I enjoy learning about creative problem solving from a designer’s perspective. Such as designing layout composition for websites, apps, logo Branding, or posters. Not only do these designs have to be visually appealing and grab the audience’s attention in an effective way, but as a designer, I need to consider user interface and understand users’ needs and be thoughtful about my design while creating something easy to read and operate for the audiences.
With Photography, I enjoy collaborating with other creatives and models. Because of photography, I am very fortunate to meet up with tons of creators that share the same passion. We share our photography techniques and learn from one to another. Because of our passion, we discover new friendships, connections, and locations to shoot and bring our photography concepts to life.
3. What are your goals for the future?
Some goals that I would like to accomplish in the near future is to work for a design firm. I would like to use my creativity and give back to my community and see some of my designs and photography used or published to inform and benefit others.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is not about how much money one can make. I feel like working towards something that you love and can make a living out of is successful. If I can continue to create and use my creativity to encourage, inform, and benefit my community, then I feel successful.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
Currently, I am working on a mobile traveling prototype App layout design. The purpose of this App design is to benefit travelers to commute easier and faster in an efficient way. This App is connected to airlines, Hotels, and other tourist spots of the locations that travelers are heading to. The user can research, book a flight and learn more about some of the local places that they are heading to all at once.
