1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Most people who know me view me as a social butterfly. I love to curate events, befriend everybody, and feed as many mouths as possible. What is not so well known is the amount of energy it takes for me to show up. I struggle with intense bouts of depression and anxiety that I am constantly learning to embrace and nurture so that they do not stand in the way of how I love the world.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Healing is my sweetest passion - in all forms. I'm an herbalist and holistic practitioner. I try to include an element of healing in everything I do, from portrait shoots to writing to hanging out with friends. I also love to travel and explore nature.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I keep a general goal of doing everything that I can to positively impact those around me, run a holistic practice, and create as much as possible. I have found that spontaneity is my accomplice; my career and circumstances have changed overnight so many times... I try to trust the process and take things as they come.
4. What is your definition of success?
For me, success is in what I can give to others. If at least one person each day is impacted by something I do, be it a kind smile or a poem that they can relate to, I have succeeded.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I'm currently working on two start-ups related to herbalism and wellness. I am the creative director for a motivational speaker. I hope to complete a collection of poems by the end of the year, and am planning a portrait series to expose emotional vulnerability through expression.
