1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Something not too many people know about me is that I’m honest to a fault and wear my heart on my sleeve. My genuineness is the quality that I am most proud of and it’s something I hope to never lose. There is nothing more liberating than knowing that you can be yourself unapologetically anywhere you go and walk away satisfied regardless of what others think.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passion is undoubtedly dancing. I’m a professional dancer and I specialize in hip hop choreography and breakdancing. Aside from that, writing has always interested me. From poetry and prose, I like using language to paint the most beautiful picture of the world as I see it.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I have so many goals. As far as my career goes, I hope to someday be an investigator and behavioral analyst for the FBI and see where my experience takes me from there. I would love to still be dancing of course. I want to teach people around the world express themselves through the power of movement when words won’t suffice.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is to always be striving for more. When the time comes that you achieve your goals the worst thing you can do is become stagnant. The potential for what you can do is limitless, so your goals should be as well. I believe true success comes when you’ve achieved as much as you can, but also left behind a legacy that inspires others to reach heights you could never attain.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I’m currently working on a project with my dance crew that is very personal to me. It deals with several sensitive topics that many people struggle with and find hard to talk about, chief among them are mental health and redefining gender roles, both of which have had a large impact on my life. I have several other projects I’ve thought out and want to release so I can express myself to the world and allow others to get to know the parts of me I can’t define with words alone. I hope I can inspire others to do so as well.
