1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I feel like many people don't know the shear amount of time I spend studying. Any amount of free time I have is used to learn something about my passions, the world, or how to connect with myself. I spend my time driving listening to tutorials and listening to audio books because I want to use any idle time to my advantage to grow as a person. A day I go without learning at least one new thing, stunts my growth to become the best version of me.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passions in life right now are dance, photography and videography. It's been truly beneficial to have passions that can be utilized together to create art.
3. What are your goals for the future?
For the future, I want to use my passions to positively impact the world. One my the goals is to reshape how individuals view "beauty". Right now in the world of portrait photography, many social networks predominately display photos of white women. I know white is beautiful, but so is black, Asian, brown, etc. I want to encourage photographers to diversify their work and to show all races with shining light. Together we can affect how the world views every human being and eventually eliminate these subconscious barriers that heavily divides us.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success for me is being able to become the greatest version of myself. I firmly believe that if people took the time to analyze themselves and strive to grow everyday they can reach a state of genuine happiness.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
For photography, I am currently working on printing a book that includes photos from photographers from around the world to really exemplify the beauty of all humans. I also just fired up a new website for my photography, www.Hantography.com. For dance, I recently choreographed a music video for an artist under Odeza's label, Foreign Family Collective, that should be releasing early this year. It included so many amazing dancers and individuals that it pushes to further pursue opportunities like this. There are so many opportunities like this all around us, we just have go that extra mile to make it happen.
