1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Something that not many people know about me is that I am a very high maintenance sleeper, I sleep with a sleeping mask on to block out the morning sun, I have to have the fan on high even in the dead winter, an essential oil diffuser on and ear plugs in to block out my boyfriend's snoring lol. Another thing a lot of people don't know about me is how close I am with my grandmother. She is my best friend.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I believe I have many passions/hobbies in life, but my biggest passion is to make a difference in a child's life. Helping children in need and building positive relationships is something I am so passionate about. I love working with children with learning differences & intellectual disabilities. My biggest hobby and also something I am very passionate about is doing makeup. I love doing glamorous makeup along with halloween looks. Those are my favourite to do! I taught myself by watching YouTube videos day in and day out for around 3 years. Its also something that helps me relieve anxiety and stress.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future is to finish my Child & Youth Care program and eventually become a Social Worker. I hope to work with children and trauma and help children overcome their triggers to be able to live the best life possible. I also hope to grow with my social media platform and be able to take on as many opportunities that I can.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is being able to accomplish your goals and grow as a person, I think success is being genuinely happy within every aspect of your life, to wake up every morning and look forward to going to work because you are able to love what you do.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I am currently working on coordinating a March Break Camp for children in my community, foster care and residential housing. An all week place for children to attend a fun circus-themed camp that allows them to just be kids! I am also working on a collaboration with a local photographer doing a sugar skull themed photoshoot coming up in April that I am super excited about!
