1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I’m a very spiritual person. When I’m not working on a project I’m most likely reading scripture, praying or meditating. I greatly enjoy meeting new people & learning from others perspectives but I’m also very much at home in a quiet place away from the noise. This resting place is where I gain the strength to step out & work towards making my dreams come true without much worry/fear for the future.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Fashion design is a go-to. I have a knack for seeing what could be created with different fabrics at the thrift store & this way the garments I make are always unique. I still have a lot to learn, but trial/ error has a way of giving them a flair they wouldn’t otherwise have. I also like to sing and write music. It’s one of those things I’d never stop doing because it’s very therapeutic for me. I’m almost always humming something under my breath...it just calms my nerves.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I want to release some music and participate in some fashion shows. Connect and surround myself with likeminded people who can embrace me & help me to evolve/realize my vision more clearly. I also think it would be important to start some kind of creative ministry or non-profit to promote spiritual wellness and mental health.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success is measured by your ability to be content/happy with where you are right now but also having enough faith to keep working to get better at whatever it is you do.
5. Tell us something about projects your working on?
I have a YouTube channel I post for weekly. I started it to force myself to be in a space of continually creating something and to just put myself out there in a way that I normally wouldn’t. More than likely it will evolve into a place where I post mostly fashion look books and sewing projects. But who knows!!!
