1. What is something not too many people know about you?
A lot of people I work with are surprised to know that I’m still in high school. I’m currently finishing up my senior year of high school in New Jersey. Next year I plan on moving to New York City and attending NYU.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I’m really passionate about political activism. Although I’m quite young and sometimes find it hard to get involved I think the best way for young people to stay involved is to get educated. There are so many great resources online and even on social media. Whether it be human rights activism or the body positivity movement, I’m confident our generation will be a generation of great change.
3. What are your goals for the future?
In the future I hope to be more of an active voice for the things I believe in. As a 17-year-old it’s not like I have the biggest platform in the world but I hope to build my following and use any platform I have to spread a message of equality and positivity.
4. What is your definition of success?
I think you’ve succeeded in life when you have made yourself proud. Once you accomplish something that you’ve always dreamed of or even something you want to talk about and spread the message of, that’s your own personal success. It can be something as small as getting a change made to your school or something as big as running for political office. Whatever change it is that you want to make I think once you start heading in the right direction you’re successful.
5. Tell us something about the projects you’re working on.
Right now I’m working on a project that will hopefully combine my interest in politics and my lifelong love, the fashion industry. More information to come on that as I start working on that in the coming months. I also have a couple of new photo shoots coming out that I’m really excited about and got to work with some really cool people.
