1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Growing up I wanted to become an archeologist and live in Egypt.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Photography is pretty much my biggest passion for four years. Before that I was into modelling but then I wanted to be more involved with the creative process of the post production. Also my older brother is a true 80s child and he got me into gaming at an early age. Since old habits die hard I still allow myself some gaming, given my guilty conscience isn‘t too bad for not having edited any pictures in a while. More recently I began to develop an interest for film making and want to focus on it in the future.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goal is to create art that touches people knowing that it is one that I may never achieve. Which is fine because what good is a goal if you could reach it so easily?
4. What is your definition of success?
Success to me is being proud of what you do. To go to bed knowing that the day that passed had meaning to you and to your goals in the future, no matter what they may be. To me it‘s always more about the journey than the accomplishment itself and to prove to yourself that you‘re capable of something you have probably never dreamed of. To look in the mirror and be proud of what you see, that is success.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I‘m currently starting psychotherapy to overcome a childhood trauma. I was thinking about creating an image each week or month to visualize my progress and maybe to encourage others to seek help by showing how a therapy can affect one‘s life.
