1. What is something not too many people know about you?
A lot of people don’t know I’m indigenous! I know I don’t look it at all, but I’m Cree. It’s a big part of my life, especially my spirituality and how I deal with hardships in the world. I’m trying to learn Cree right now!
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I love painting and embroidery. I’m a very artsy person! I do watercolour painting, my favourite things to paint are flowers. I think art can convey messages in a way that words cannot, sometimes.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to finish my nursing degree, get in to a masters program for it, and travel to meet new people! And of course - more shoots.
4. What is your definition of success?
I think successes can be found in the day to day things. As someone who has struggled with a lot of self doubt and perfectionism, sometimes you need to celebrate the little things. Waking up and feeling happy. Doing the best you could with what the world dealt you. Being able to laugh.
5. Tell us something about the projects you’re working on.
I’m wanting to do lots of artsy stuff. I get a lot of inspiration from art, new and old, and I want to start incorporating that in to my modelling.
