1. What is something not too many people know about you?
People may not know that if smoothie bowls could suffice as a proper diet, I would eat them for every meal for the rest of my life.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
One of my biggest passions in life is running. No matter the time in my, life it will always be there for me to pick me back up if I fall out of it. It will always be the one I put all of my time, effort, and love into. And I think that is what a passion is all about. Making it not all you have in life, but giving all you can give to it, and giving back to your passion what it has given to you.
3. What are your goals for the future?
One of my new goals for the future is to somehow create more awareness and give more knowledge to female college distance runners about the importance of fueling their bodies to run, bone health, hormone imbalances, and body image.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success I've realized now after being at the beginning of my career for one year so far is that I must aim to enjoy where I'm at in that very moment. Soaking in each moment, filling myself with as much knowledge as I can. Being successful in life is being rich in family and friends, not money or valuables. Of course everyone's definition of success will differ, but living simply to me, is a success.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I am in the process of researching hormones' effects on the body and if hormones are altered, how that changes the course of other hormones and our metabolisms. This will play a role in me eventually creating a blog, writing an informational article, or speaking at a college about my concerns mentioned in question #3.
