1. What is something not too many people know about you?
A lot of people do not know that I am currently a full-time college student. I attend Eastern Michigan University and I am majoring in Electronic Media and Film Studies with a minor in Journalism. I am almost done with my sophomore year and I couldn’t be more excited. Although I enjoy school in general, I am looking forward to working full time in the film/photography/magazine industry.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passion is creating stories through my photos. I want my photography to not only captivate people, but to also make them look deeper into the image and be able to conceptualize their own story. The feeling I get when I capture a great shot is indescribable. The process of this art is thrilling to me and I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to be so involved in it. My favorite hobby is definitely thrift shopping. I have recently made thrift shopping a full-time job by selling items on an app called Depop. Depop is a great way for me to make some extra cash and I have so much fun doing it.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are ever changing as I am constantly meeting new people and discovering new passions. Currently, my goal is to finish school, perfect my craft, and move to a place that is bustling with the film industry.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is living my life in a way that shows people the light and love of Christ. I have the greatest news in the world and I am here on this earth to share it. Even if just one person comes to know Jesus because they see His grace and love overflowing in my life, then I will consider my life a success.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I am currently working with multiple brands which has been great because, let’s be real – FREE STUFF ROCKS! Other than that, I have a lot of trips planned in the next few months AND I’ve started vlogging. I hope to make vlogging a regular thing even if nobody watches. Vlogging is WILD and a great way to document my life so I can look back and laugh at myself.
