1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Something that most people don’t know about it is that I grew up as a huge tomboy. Growing up, my older brother always had his friends over and quite a few of them ended up living with us from time to time. This made me strong and tough. I tried to keep up with the boys, I wanted to do what they were doing. Which was riding dirt bikes and four wheelers all around our property and throughout the neighborhood making all of our neighbors rip their hair out. When I was 7 years old I got my first very own blue Yamaha four wheeler for Christmas. I drove that thing into the ground. Getting home from school, the first thing I would do was jump on it and go until it was supper time. Throughout my life I have always gotten along really well with boys, this caused me problems with girls. They just never understood how or why I had so many guys friends, making them really jealous and mean towards me which only pushed me away further from them. Now I have found a hand full of amazing girlfriends that I wouldn’t trade for the world who support me and aren’t judgmental. They are amazing.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passion is healing or fixing people. From almost every relationship I form, I see in what way someone is hurting or struggling and I do everything I can to help them. This in turn sometimes doesn’t work. Someone has to want to change or want help for the change to happen. I struggle with this. I don’t let anything go, I worry and stress myself out. I was in a very bad relationship in high school and I stayed in it for three years trying over and over again to help my boyfriend who actually wasn’t asking for help, he saw nothing wrong with himself. For me that was the hardest and made me never give up. Thinking “oh maybe this time I’ll be able to get through to him”. Healing is not only my strength but also my weakness.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future just like everyone else is to be successful. Where I’m lost though is I don’t know what I want to do or be. I don’t like picking one thing and having to just do that. That scares me and makes me have anxiety. I have so many passions, none of which blend together into one amazing dream career. HELP
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is happiness. Finding something that you love to do that pays the bills. Waking up everyday and loving what you do. Having your life just how you wanted it. For me, a great job, a home, amazing husband who blesses me with children, and my family and friends around me. It sounds simple but it takes time, energy, and patience.
5. Tell us about the projects you're working on.
I currently am not working on any pieces. Modeling and fashion is just one of my many passions and trying to find time and money to balance them all is hard at times. My height tends to get in the way of modeling and finding a agency that is okay with my height is an uphill battle. Any chance I get though to shoot with someone, I take it. Photo shoots are the fun part whether the photos are being used or just for fun.
