1. What is something not too many people know about you?
A lot of people don't know I'm originally from rural Ohio, and started taking photos 8 years ago!
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I would say photography is my main passion & hobby, but I feel it's even surpassed that title now.
3. What are your goals for the future?
Some goals for the near future, to release a photo book--about being queer. I'd be featuring a lot of other queer folks in it, and maybe even a bit of everyone's story, including my own. I definitely plan to continue being featured in galleries and events, I'm speaking at a workshop at the end of this month, and hope to just keep creating the type of work I like! Traveling is a big part of what I do as well. I'll be touring the east coast in May and really look forward to working with new people and networking along the way.
Long term, I'd eventually like to move to New York and work as a photographer for a magazine or other company that would give me a steady income (but only one who would find use for my style of photos and wouldn't make me change in any way).
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is being not only stable, but comfortable. I'm at that point--but also still have a long way to go to reach my absolute full definition of success.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
Yeah! So I'm not working on any specific thing right now other than formulating ideas for my book and photoshoots I have coming up. I just renovated my apartment to create a small studio space, and made business cards! My projects are more external right now, but definitely needed for all the internal photographic makings.
