1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Something that not too many people know about me is that I was chubby growing up. Most people don’t believe me when I tell them because I don’t look it now, but if you ask my family they will confirm along with a few jokes.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passion would be modeling, I love anything that deals with fashion, but strutting down a runway is the best feeling ever. Running is also a hobby of mine, but I’m more of a long-distance runner than sprinter that’s for sure.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I’ve been wanting to go back to school to get a degree as a dietician; its something completely left field from what I did in undergrad which was fashion. The main reason is to help other people reach their fitness goals and become healthier. I’m all about clean eating. My other goal is continuing to pursue my modeling career. I’ve done a lot in the past year and I can’t wait to see what this year brings.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success would be on a mental state; most people measure it by the material things they have obtained, but I think it is when you reach a point where you’re genuinely happy with yourself as a person. For me its knowing whatever I am doing is leading towards a better, healthier life and that I stay true to myself along the way.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
I have a couple of big castings coming up, one for New York and the other for Miami. So everyday I am trying to find time to perfect my craft. I have also inspired a few friends to embark on the healthy lifestyle, so I help them with meal plans and prepping. Another thing I want to do this year is travel more. I have yet to go out of the country, so I’d like to go somewhere out of my comfort zone.
