1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Well, I am a pretty open book most of the time. I try to be as authentic as possible with anyone I meet, but if you have never met me in person then you would be surprised by how tall I am. I am 6'0" tall! I also interned at D Magazine and have been published on their online website. I even got an article on the most popular page. You can check it out on my feed in the highlights.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Running HowtobeSocial.blog has become easily one of my favorite things to do. The reward of inspiring others to become the best they can be while creating content (blog posts, podcasts, and video blogs) is such a fueling and fulfilling feeling. I also love to pull teams of aspiring creatives in order to make my visions and shoot concepts come to life. Turns out I am a really great connector. I am able to pull together a crew of creatives that would have never known each other. The shoots are always fun and we all make new friends, which is probably my favorite part.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I love learning and trying new things. Finding new passions and moving pretty fluidly through life is something I am good at. I know my short-term goal is to grow my following to 10k by the end of the year on all my platforms, but long term? Well, I am just letting life show me the opportunities right now. Who knows, right now I am a social media coordinator, but in 10 years I might be a museum curator. Life, for me, is all about trying new things and becoming the best you can be.
4. What is your definition of success?
To push your own limits every day and to learn a little about what you can do to make life better for the greater good. This, in turn, leads to creating a community of interdependent people in the world. To let others know that they aren’t alone.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
Starting back in January, I began ramping up production on HowtobeSocial.blog by creating more content. I do a blog post every Monday, podcast every Wednesday and a video on Fridays. This has taught me a lot about the content creation process and also given me the ability to challenge myself creatively. In terms of shooting, I have also been focusing a lot on more retro concepts. My favorite quote right now, "in a world full of trends - I want to be a classic" is what fuels that passion. There is a reason classics never fade and I intend on becoming one myself.
