1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I was raised in a military family and would constantly move around growing up. Ironically, shortly after graduating high school, I spent the next five years of my life serving with some of the greatest men and women in the Marine Corps.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Other than filming and progressing within the creative community, I really enjoy being a father and exploring the outdoors whether it be a hike, or a road trip with friends. Having a child at a much younger age than I had originally anticipated was both the hardest yet most rewarding experience yet. There’s no greater feeling than sharing my adventures with my son Kaden.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I hope to lead a team of talented creatives one day traveling the country/world filming for music producers, record labels, and music festivals.
4. What is your definition of success?
I believe success within a working environment is the ability to set a goal and accomplish it. Many times I find myself trying to be a perfectionist, but in the creative industry it’s much better to get things done rather than waste time trying to be perfect. There’s always going to be room for improvement, so as long as I’m continuing to grow as a creative and as a human being, then I would consider myself to be successful.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I’m currently working on a wedding highlight reel and few recap edits from past music events for some local electronic artists here in Seattle. They usually only last about a minute each (for Instagram purposes). I’m also laying the foundation down for a current music video project. I’m real excited because an edit like this is going to be comprised of multiple days of shooting and editing as well as a meaningful storyline which correlates to the song.
