1. What is something not too many people know about you?
That I'm a nomad? You can often find me carrying a suit case or a huge heavy black bag pack. Ha-ha. I actually mean I have countless places to call home. I never lived more than two years in the same place. I have lived in so many different apartments I can't count them all without forgetting a few. Packing and unpacking feels like the most stable thing in my life and "going home for Christmas" is usually the most stressful choice to make. I am very grateful for that.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Of course I adore going to the theater, watching films and reading a good book, whether it's a novel, a play or a memoir. You can also often find me drawing and painting in my apartment, taking pictures, doing weird stuff with my roommate or enjoying a yoga class.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I hope to keep living in-between America and Europe while making a living telling stories that feel compelling and relevant to me, whether it's doing film, theater or performance art. A dream of mine is to work in my second home, Chile (yes, I´m half Chilean). I would be very proud to work on a Chilean film. I think we don´t see enough stories about Chile.
4. What is your definition of success?
I often associate success with results, but I'm learning that if you can find joy in your every day journey you are probably leading a very successful life. It's so easy to fall into thinking that we are missing something to be happy: "when I accomplish that goal or when I get what I want, I'll be happy". To acknowledge that wherever you are is okay and that whoever you are right now is more than enough seems like a pretty successful moment to be living in.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I'm working on a couple projects at the moment, but I am definitely very excited about The Lacy Project. I´m co-producing the play with my dear friend Candela May. It´s our first time doing so and with the wonderful help of Samuel Rubin (our consulting producer) it's been a wonderful experience. We are working with an incredibly talented cast and the amazing director Victoria Mack. Working with friends, people you love that you professionally admire, is an absolute blessing. I can´t wait to officially share with everyone what I've been working on the last couple months. We´ll be performing the play this summer, so stay tuned!
