1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I started this path of Modeling/acting February 3rd, 2017. I found a Photographer by typing in “Headshots near me” on google. I only had a little money to my name, but I spent the 125 dollars asked for the shoot. No idea what I was doing in front of the camera for my first time, but I was confident and not afraid of failing. I used those shots to get signed in San Francisco to an agency that mostly does commercial which was so slow at the beginning. I started networking by myself any way I could, I called myself a full-time model/actor before it was true, not in a bragging way though. I know how hard I am willing to work. I know that I will not take no for answer. I know that I am just as capable as anyone else. Eventually, things started picking up, and now I have established myself in 1 year as a Model/Actor. The day I started to pursue Acting & Modeling was the day I took control of my own happiness. No one was going to tell me where I was going to end or what I was worth anymore. I started out with literally nothing but eagerness and a dream.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Over the years my favorite hobbies consisted of anything that gave me adrenaline. Now my biggest passion is my biggest hobby. I have decided to fully dedicate myself to my career because I love what I do, and I wake up every single morning with more inspiration and drive than the day before.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I plan on signing with an Agency in LA in 2018, and to be full-time in LA by 2019. I see myself picking up roles as a supporting actor for TV and progressing to major roles in Film within the next 5-7 years. I am more than willing to deviate from this plan depending on opportunities. I am well aware that in my position anything could happen, and I am game to roll with the punches.
4. What is your definition of success?
Through the years I have been involved with a variety of different people, good and bad. I have depended on so many different people, places, and objects for my happiness. I have been down and out with drug addiction, depression, treatment centers, jail, etc. Today, I don’t rely on anyone or substance for my happiness. I am a struggling artist, I have HIGH earning days, LOW earning days, and NO earning days, but all days are successful as long as I can stay on the path I am on, mentally & physically.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
a. I just finished up a “Jansport” Backpack Commercial, a lot of fun! I was dressed in a cool high fashion look performing a variety of poses and expressions on video.
b. At the moment, I'm working on a few different concepts for my creative portfolio. I progress the most as a model through TFP (Time for Print) work. I use Instagram as a big creative community. I set up really amazing shoots with Photographers, Hair and Make-up Artists, Stylists, and Studios. Each one of us are serious about what we are trying to accomplish.
c. I'm working on a Book Cover for “Melissa Foster” a NY Times/ USA Today’s Award Winning and Best Selling Author. The book is called “Breaking Brandon” and is the 5th in its series. It comes out at the end of 2018, but will have the cover shot back soon to show friends and family.
d. At the beginning of the month I did a few commercials, one for a new Sunglasses company, the other for a Jacket (Baubax Travel Jackets).
e. RUNWAY! I was accepted into SF fashion week for my 2nd year. I won "Best Male Model 2017" for SF Fashion Week and it was my first Runway show ever. I won because I practiced and took it just as serious as I do anything else in the industry.
