1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Not many people know that my creativity started with music, I used to be a violinist before I realized I loved drawing!
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Biggest passion is definitely expressing myself through paint, it helps me stay true to myself while earning a living! My hobbies include making music, playing video games, and making the people I love feel good(:
3. What are your goals for the future?
Some short term goals I hope to accomplish this year are coordinating a solo exhibition, learning more about making my designs into graphics, and painting a mural. The things that will take a bit longer are creating a foundation to benefit the youth of the city of Harrisburg where I grew up, begin a sponsored monthly creative networking event, and have my work shown in museums!
4. What is your definition of success?
For me personally, success is being completely comfortable. There are different levels of success because it’s so subjective but I’m always trying to find how I can achieve that ultimate peace of mind. If I’m good and the people I love are good, then I have succeeded.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I’ve partnered up with fellow artist @heyshedraws to form the online collaboration called #HeyWeCollab! Our first series is #WCW and for the past few weeks we’ve painted our favorite inspiring women. Another project I’m a part of is with the company @artwearauction, outside of their custom apparel business they have a program working with children to instill that same entrepreneurship with the same methods of painting on clothes. I love seeing the creativity bloom in these kids, so heartwarming!
