1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I’m skilled in other artistic mediums besides photography! I have a BA in english and am working on a book; I grew up playing guitar, ukulele, flute, piccolo and a little piano; I also like to think I’m a pretty good singer; I’m also savvy with painting, crafting, handwriting and interior design.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
The obvious answer is photography, but I’m also very into exercise and fitness. I was a rower in high school and college and while I don’t train like I did back then, I’m still an active athlete and fitness guru, doing things like circuit training, lifting, yoga and cardio on my rowing machine.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My absolute biggest goal is to be happy. But in terms of my business, I want to be a successful wedding and portrait photographer. Smaller goals include publishing a photo book and creating online workshops.
4. What is your definition of success?
Happiness. Even if you make all the money in the world, if you aren’t happy with the life your living, you haven’t been successful. That’s the reason I chose to become a professional photographer, because photography is what makes me the happiest.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I was just hired as a guest editor for the first issue of a new philadelphia magazine, “Focus on Philly,” which is essentially a large portfolio featuring all sorts of artists in the philadelphia area. I’m super excited about it, i think it’s going to be a huge success.
