1. What is something not too many people know about you?
A lot of people are deceived by my bubbly personality and strong faith in God and think that I’m happy-go-lucky and a believer because nothing bad has ever happened to me. They see my success in school, social life, at the gym, or at work and think I have it all laid out for me, but no one knows I’ve worked incredibly hard for everything I have and that I’ve been through a lot of personal and family struggles.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Acting! It’s an outlet for me to feel and express the emotions of others that I don’t always fully allow myself to express in every day life. And modeling. I love the creativity and dress-up factor of modeling. I’m also obsessed with reading and writing. I used to write mainly short fiction stories, but now I focus mainly on journaling and poetry. I would love to publish my poetry someday as well as write a novel. I love working out and just being active. LOVE dancing. And the outdoors. Hiking, swimming, surfing, snowboarding. Riding horses. Playing soccer. Going to the movies. And God. He’s my biggest passion of them all and the reason I have all of these other passions.
3. What are your goals for the future?
To become a famous actress (; I want to secure a role on a tv show or star in a movie in the near future, and accumulate roles from there. An overarching goal in life though is to use whatever platform I end up being given, however big or small, to change the lives of others by bringing the glory back to God and showing others how His love changes everything for the best.
4. What is your definition of success?
I think most people define success as being happy with yourself and feeling fulfilled at what you’ve accomplished and where you are in life. I would add the element of fully using your gifts and talents to impact the world and the people that make up the world in a beneficial way. Success to me is smiling at a stranger who you later found out was having the worst day of their life & they tell you that one smile changed it all - because one smile typically always does.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I’m currently in the process of collaborating on writing a book about two teenagers that end up changing the current education system. Hopefully it will have a large influence on the youth and real-life implications for vital academic change in our society. My personal creative projects involve taking acting classes & dance classes. I just started taking them, but I’m very excited about those!
