1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I love taking care of animals. Any type of animal, cat, dog, or even farm animals. I love helping the animals who are suffering and looking for comfort. I took a trip to Puerto Rico my senior year of high school and most of my time was spent taking care of wounded dogs and feeding, bathing, and grooming other strays as well. I also have a weakness for chickens. I grew up with a small flock of farm birds and I have always had a soft spot in my heart for them. I am planning on getting some chicks and raising them when I get a house of my own.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I tend to do a lot of gardening and cooking. I always liked to plant a garden in the spring with my family and watch throughout the summer as the ripe tomatoes and cucumbers we ate at the table came from our own backyard. Even in my apartment now I still grow food for myself. My passion for cooking came from my Grandma. I can remember being small and standing at her side at the stove asking her what she’s cooking and if I can help stir. She is one of my biggest inspirations and someone that keeps my goals on track.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals with modeling are undetermined as of now. The journey is what's important, not the final destination. Along my journey of finding myself through modeling, I hope I can do advertising for clothing brands, networking to build new relationships with other artists in the community, and eventually travel for my job. I would love to travel for work. I am also interested in doing some campaigns for beauty and skincare.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success to me, is coming to the conclusion that all the work you did has paid off. Success does not come overnight, and will take years. Success will have failure as well, but we cannot let that stop us. Success is having people know your name and know your reputation for being reliable and dependable. The journey for success is something that never really stops (in my mind) since the industry is constantly changing and evolving.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I totally want to tell you guys! But I do have some publications in the works that I can’t tell anyone about. Other than submissions, I have been working on collaborating with different clothing brands around town and networking with many other artists. I am currently working for Denver Fashion Week and I could not be more excited as to what 2018 (and the years to come) have to offer us. The industry is all about growth, and growing together with the community is a great accomplishment in my books.
