1. What is something not too many people know about you?
One fact that not too many people know about me is that I started loving photography or the art of high fashion/ fashion at a very young age. While my classmates were watching cartoons I was busy watching the Fashion Channel at home or studying Vogue and other magazines. It was only about 3 years ago that I finally decided to buy a professional level camera and pursue my dreams.
2. What are your biggest passions?
This is probably going to be too obvious but my biggest passion is photography. I just can’t seem to get tired of it. I work on it from the time I wake early in the morning to the time I end sleeping on my couch while editing my photos. There is just too much to learn in this field to where I'm just programmed to shoot and shoot and shoot as well as watch YouTube videos made by fave photographers, keeping in mind not to shoot like them but to make my workflow faster from the last. Another passion that I have is fashion. Funny thing is I would only dress to impress if it’s for an important event, however if it’s just a regular day I’ll just pick out anything from my closet and call it a day.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I have a lot! I could write a whole book just talking about what my goals are, so I'm just gonna tell you guys two. First, I want to start a team of creatives, a combination of artists, from fellow photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, etc. and with that team just accept a bunch of projects with up-and-coming brands to brands that have established themselves within the industry. Second, I don't know find a wife? Start a photography family? No but seriously my second goal is to spread to everyone, young and old, my love for art, for photography through my photos.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success would probably be having my name in the same conversation where people are discussing the greats. Imagine being compared to Edward Weston, Saul Leiter, Paolo Roversi and Sarah Moon. Sometimes people don't understand the importance of having inspiration in one’s life. Seeing these photographers’ photos molded me into the creative that I am today.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're working on.
One project that I'm planning is the fusion of wedding photography and editorials. Wedding dresses and suits don't get as much love in the fashion industry so I'm trying to change that perspective. I'm also trying to host somewhat of a meet up but it’s going to be more intimate, so there's a cap to the number of photographers and models that can go. This is to avoid people getting the same shots.
I would love to thanks everyone, my fans, friends and family for all the love and support you guys have given me. Without your guys’ support I wouldn't be where I am today.
