1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Not many people know that I am a champion log roller. I grew up spending my summers with family in Lake Joseph in Ontario, Canada and that was what we did for fun!
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passion is to help people. Specifically, I coach people through support, education, and encouragement on their holistic health and wellness. The aim is not simply a diet or an exercise plan, but lasting, sustainable behavior change. I am a big believer in the quote "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Helping others become the best version of themselves and assisting them on their health and wellness journey is my passion. As far as hobbies go, I adore the arts. For me, the arts are all encompassing - culinary, dance, painting, pottery, woodwork, jewelry, interior design. Essentially anything that can be created and made beautiful.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I have many future goals but the one I have given the most thought to lately is my idea to expand my Health and Wellness Coaching business by starting a Health and Wellness Retreat combined with an animal rescue farm. There would be a variety of programs offered - some including the animals, gardening, cooking, other artistic mediums, yoga disciplines, etc. Everything would be focused on holistic health, wellness, healing, and rejuvenation.
4. What is your definition of success?
To me, success is not defined by money or power, it is much deeper and more personal than that. The Bible says “Where your treasure is, there also is your heart” (Matthew 6:21). I measure success by living a life that aligns with my values and ideals, a life that brings me inner peace and self-satisfaction, because I know I am doing my best to become the best that I am capable of becoming. For me, that is a life built on helping others become the best they can be as well. It is about finding my unique balance in life, maintaining it, and being happy and at peace there.
