1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I actually started photography by sneaking my camera into music festivals. It was a beautiful combination of enjoying some of my favorite artists while capturing pictures of them as well.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Aside from photography and traveling, I’m very passionate about good music. After growing up watching my grandmother play piano in church, I decided to try to teach myself how to play. I only play by ear for now, but I’ll eventually learn more of the fundamentals.
3. What are your goals for the future?
One goal of mine is to continue adding diversity to my work. I want to continue shooting with a variety of different people with different features and ethnicities. Another main goal would be to build more connections with other creatives. Things can be discouraging sometimes, but knowing that you’re not the only one can always help someone obtain that boost of confidence they need to push through the funk and continue to create!
4. What is your definition of success?
Success is a state of mind for me. It’s less of a physical substance or status. Success will be taking a chance on myself and gaining from it mentally and financially. It will be doing what I love and being able to still keep in touch with my family.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
Experimenting. Probably a few projects I’ll have may involve video work, reaching out to new people to collaborate, and exploring new places and concepts. This year will be about ‘Mastery’ and finding what makes my style, MY style. ++
