1. What is something not too many people know about you?
That’s a tough one. I’d like to think I’m a pretty open book when it comes to my personality, but I don’t think most people know that I’m an over-thinker, which can be suuuuper tough being awkward, too. I probably spend 50% of my time wasted on past/future conversation.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies? Besides photography?
Probably traveling, honestly. I’m super blessed to have a really rad husband that loves doing it with me, so we try and travel out of country once a year and smaller trips in between.
3. What are your goals for the future?
This year’s goals include more editorials and lookbooks, but my ultimate goal is to be doing fashion photography full-time.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success isn’t necessarily the positive aspect of what you’re doing. It’s all the bad, too. It’s days you’re not even able to look at your own work because you think you’re not good enough. It’s those days where you’re crying because you’ve sat for hours editing one session and the final product isn’t near what you thought it would be. Success is not giving up, and making it through those days. It’s choosing the hard part because you genuinely love what you’re doing.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I’ve recently worked with 337 magazine, and that’ll be published in February/March, which is pretty cool. I’ve currently got a couple of mood boards I’m setting up for different editorials, but the most exciting one is rebranding my business (which will be launching soooooooon!).
