1. What is something not too many people know about you?
There are some things better left unsaid, some things too pungent to talk about, and some things I will not share because I keep those things sacred to my soulmate. Dirty little secrets, dark secrets, and fantasies, now that … maybe. Something not many people know about me is I enjoy numbers. I like reading math. Not what you expected? That’s because of stereotypes. My dad is a poet and my mother a beauty goddess of the 70’s with a startup skin care company and I the product of love which I call a love baby. This love baby is a creative model and nerd at heart.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Wow, biggest passions. Until a human can live for centuries, a passion for one thing cannot happen until you’ve experienced all of it. So far my biggest passion is living life to the fullest. Making sure I do what makes me happy because I understand I deserve it. So do you. “There’s no time like now” to do what you love doing. If that changes with time, there is nothing wrong with trying something else. Right now I model, travel, own my moving house on wheels, and go to college for math. I served a term in the military, did active duty time, lived in NYC, attended and walked in Hollywood shows, hosted large events, managed a business and maybe one day soon I’ll fly a helicopter like my husband.
A hobby of mine is indulging in the creative process of photography. My husband, the photographer, and I, the model, shoot together and collaborate on so many ideas. There’s this common idea that a model can’t be in a relationship to their photographer. I can tell you those people just didn’t find the right person.
3. What are your goals for the future?
Immediate goals: I want to experiment on my makeup everyday to learn new techniques and apply them to photoshoots. I also would like to research and find at least one magazine to submit to as well as at least one modeling agency and add them to my google bookmarks for what's called Submission Fridays. Lastly I would like to calorie count and watch my macros for the upcoming runway show. Organization and motivation.
Short term goals: reduce body fat for a toned core, minimize processed foods, take a sculpting class, ballet class, modern dance, salsa, cooking, flying, scuba diving. Basically I want to take as many classes as I can while in college. I’d also like to make surprise letters to my lover, find a position we haven’t tried yet, take a class we want, be in a Latino pop star music video as the main girl (model) like Nicki-jam, be published in as many magazines as possible that are tasteful and enhances my career. I’m going to try to compete in shows, model competitions, attend more castings, schedule ten interviews with prestigious modeling agencies and sign with an agency that brings consistency in work. I’ll be growing my hair out and trying to shoot a more natural, messy look. I also want to try acting and producing different emotions in my regular and face poses.... whew there’s more, but it’s too much :) oh and organization and motivation.
Long term goals: travel the world with my love happily and in love, enjoying each other and enjoying the world together at our leisure because we’ll have paid modeling, business, influencer, appearance or blogger trips. I want to have my first million in profit in my bank account before the age of 26 and maintain a healthy and happy body as well as a healthy relationship with my husband. I'm going to try every year to do what makes us happy, take risks and support my husband in his goals too. Finally, I want to incorporate activities together. Organization and motivation.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is simple. Success is being someone you’re proud to talk about, disregarding what others think you should be, and striving to be a better you because you are the only one who can do you best.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
Currently I’m working on getting sponsored for more events like the Las Vegas fashion week competition. I’m trying to also increase my influence by creating unique and impacting images and learning from failure. I’m working on body positivity and applying it to my images. I have a couple pieces of amazing shoes and clothes that will be epic in the upcoming shoots! P.S. I love shoes
