1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Despite my inability to whistle, I have an unquenchable thirst for complete independence and a drastic change of scenery, but the future tends to make me feel apprehensive. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of moving far away into a big city that held opportunities to be whoever I wanted to be. Getting ready to place both feet into a different stage of life, I’ve applied to colleges in Seattle, Chicago, Austin, Boston and Denver, and sadly I haven’t felt as confident.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
One of my most obvious passions is photography. I’ve always had an interest in documenting the lives of those around me and expressing who I am without using words. Another passion of mine is music. I grew up playing a multitude of instruments and always had my dad showing me tunes from his time. It’s inspired me not only to be versatile with different genres, but it’s also inspired my art.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goal for the future is to be unapologetically myself. I hope to inspire others to realize that being bold and being yourself is the most captivating feature.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success isn’t measured in numbers or ranks. It’s by being proud of what you’re creating and what it means to you.
5. Tell us about the project you’re working on.
The biggest project I’m working on right now is my portfolio for college. Instead of my portfolio being strictly photography, I’m working on including multitudes of mixed media. Hopefully I’ll have a blog post about everything I chose for my college portfolio and descriptions!
