1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Something not to many people know about me is my huge advocacy for body positivity. Since an extremely young age I’ve had problems with my body. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. I didn’t like what looked back at me in the mirror. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I learned to love and appreciate my body. I’m healthy. Not a size zero with abs. But healthy and strong. I still often go through phases where I don’t like how my body looks because of the things I see on TV and magazines, But I remember that I was beautifully designed by my God, and although i may not fit media’s standards of a perfect body, I’m my own perfect body.I hope one day I can share it with the world and teach them that beautiful is unique to each person. It isn’t a mold.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passion and hobby is preforming. I couldn’t say specifically if that means theatre or film. Both I love. Both are things I hope to do in the future. I just love preforming. I’m a huge junkie of all things entertainment. I love the rush i get in front of a live audience.
3. What are your goals for the future?
I have so many goals for the future. It gets a bit hectic in my brain I must admit. My main focus right now is to finish cosmetology school, get my license and then make the move to New York. From there, I hope to intern at a salon and pursue performing and modeling.
4. What is your definition of success?
The dictionary defines success as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. My personal definition of success is living everyday achieving something. Whether it be a goal you’ve had set since the third grade, or a task that was just given to you. It’s working. It’s putting 100% in everything you do.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
Currently I am freelancing both modeling and acting. I have a photoshoot coming up soon. I’m super excited that I get to combine my talents...not only am I the model, I am also HAMU. Recently, I was featured in a music video by the band Bad Nite. It was directed by Ryan Polly. This will be released soon, and I am beyond excited to see the outcome.
