1. What is something not too many people know about you?
This is tough because I am an open book. I guess most people are shocked to hear that, before I began doing makeup, I was a biology major. I love science and genetics! When I found makeup, though, I came alive in a different way and knew I had to explore that avenue. Also, I run a live music series called, Loft Stories, with my husband, Bryson, just btw. It's our life right now and so much fun.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I am very passionate about encouraging people in who they are and helping them to embrace their giftings. I believe that every voice is important and we were all created with a purpose, so if I can help encourage someone in that, I'm all over it. I love bringing people together. The only hobby I have time for is trying new restaurants and types of food. Which works out really well, haha! Gotta eat!
3. What are your goals for the future?
For the first time in my life, I have goals! The list is LONG and a bit terrifying - but they're all very necessary. A few immediate goals are to join an agency for creatives, build a nationally recognized brand for Loft Stories with my husband and launch something else that we can't talk about just yet. Shh! Keep an eye (or an ear) out! We are working on some very cool, invaluable experiences that we can't wait to share with other people.

4. What is your definition of success?
Success is hyped up a lot of times. I used to think being successful meant having a mansion with the nicest cars and every name brand thing and a nose job. But like, why? Now that I'm a business owner and have lived just a little, I find success in almost every day. Being able to do what I love 5 or 6 days per week is success to me. Every time I am hired to create something or collaborate with a team, that is success. When I get to see a film that I've worked on for the very first time, as I'm crying through it (happens every time), that is success. When each person we talk to at our shows has some sort of enlightening encounter, just by going to see live music? That is the coolest thing, to be able to create a space for people to feel something. I thank God that I get to do what I love and it pays the bills. That is success.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I am always working on something, because if I don't I will shrivel up and be blown away. My main focus right now is to continue developing our music series, Loft Stories (@dallasloftstories). Aside from that, I may have a feature film and a series pilot coming up this spring, so I am kind of bracing for that ride while keeping my feet on the ground. You just never know if something is going to shoot until you're on set shooting it, you know? One day at a time, that's all we get.
