1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I hate corny jokes. It’s like when I already know the punch line, I won’t even fake laugh or crack a grin. I’ll just look at the person with the side eye.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Photography…duh. When I'm at home or at work, I always find myself in Lightroom and Photoshop trying some new technique that I’ve learned from watching a video on YouTube. I shoot and/or edit an image everyday.
3. What are your goals for the future?
Good question. I don’t really think too hard about the future because I live in the eternal now. But if I were to contemplate it, I would have to say that I would like to see my work on the cover of an online/print magazine. Maybe I’ll put out a photo book some day.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success would be not to truly care about the opinion of others when it comes to my work. The moment I stop giving a f*** about the opinion of others is the moment I’ll have more freedom to become more creative. Granted, I do act as if I don’t care about the opinion of others, but it still gets into my head a little bit.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I recently completed a project that was on my mind for two or three months. I did a shoot on Christmas morning with model Ashley at a giant mural. It’s a house that’s painted yellow (to my eyes) in the middle of a blue parking lot. The model wore black and white with pops of red. The shoot was f***ing blazing! For 2018, I’m planning on doing photoshoots in some of the public places that we have in the city of Dallas. Place like the museum, the library, etc… And, I’m also planning on going to New York and/or Philly to shoot fashionable street photography.
