1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Most people know me for acting and Tahitian dancing, but not too many people know I grew up playing music.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
Besides movie making and dancing I love to race outrigger canoes. I paddle in the open ocean between four to ten miles a day when I’m not on set or on stage. My favorite race has been a forty-one mile channel crossing from the island of Moloka’i to O’ahu in Hawai’i which, so far, I’ve done two years in a row.
3. What are your goals for the future?
Besides producing my own work, my goal for the near future is to get a recurring role on a TV series or another role on a feature film.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success to me is being able to work consistently in my industry while still having time for my family, friends, and my own creative projects.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
I’m currently working on the series Hawaii Five-0. In previous seasons I’ve worked as an actor on the show; however, this season I’ve been working on the camera crew. Being on the other side of the camera has taught me so much about production. I apply this knowledge to a developing project I’m producing in Tahiti and a very personal long term project related to my brother’s death.
