1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I was a college athlete before I became a model. I ran track for the University of Oklahoma before having a career ending knee injury. Sometimes I still think of myself as an athlete over being a model. I played sports from the age of 5, so being an athlete was much of my identity, but I have to remind myself that it's in the past.
2. What is your biggest passion?
My biggest passion is to literally make the world a better place for every species on Mother Earth. I believe it starts from within, you can't make the world a better place without being your healthiest self, eating and living organically. Little things like riding a bike instead of driving sometimes, and taking public transit, and recycling, not using as many lights or taking shorter showers to conserve energy and water.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to be more of an advocate for women, minorities, and social injustices mainly. I'm so big on world peace and the only way for it is for equality for all people because we deserve it. I would love for everyone to receive access to their needs from the workplace to the doctor's office. So hopefully one day I can be a voice for change.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success, to me, is setting a goal and achieving it. The feeling of accomplishing something, no matter how long it takes you or what you did to get there, that's success. To be able to say, " Wow I told myself I could do it and I did it," is a great feeling and no one can take that from you ever.
5. Tell us something about the project you're currently working on.
I am currently working on something special for young developing models that are thrown into the industry with not much life experience. I wish I could say more about it, but it will be special and it's much needed in the fashion industry.
