1. What is something not too many people know about you?
Something not too many people know about me is that I dance. A lot of the people that follow me or see my work know me for my portraits and video work. I rarely post videos of me dancing, but when I do people are so surprised because they never expect that I could move like that. I’ve been so focused on growing with my photography and videography that I haven’t danced as much as I would like to, but I plan to change that in the new year for sure.
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
My biggest passions are 100 percent, videography and photography. Through dance is how I found my passion for photography and video. I first picked up a camera in my high school photo class and like anyone, started taking pictures of just anything. Eventually I decided to mix the two and photograph dancers or any type of movement. From learning through YouTube I was always intrigued by the choreography videos and I was always working towards making my own. That’s where filming came into play and I grew to love it. I like to keep busy working on my craft. To do so, I like to shoot both photos and videos on my shoots. I take photos first and then create a cinematic of the whole shoot adding a unique touch when it comes to me sharing on instagram.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to work with different brands, magazines, artists. My job would be a creative director to help bring the best content to them which would bring more value to the individual or company. This is something I already strive to do with the projects I have done, whether they are free or paid. Many people love to travel and see the world. That is something that is at the top of my list. I want to be able to document my stay at all the different places I visit and encourage people to do the same. The best advice for achieving your goals is to visualize it each and everyday, but then take action and just do it. Even if it may be risky, it’ll be beneficial in the long run.
4. What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is to bring a sense of joy to someone with my art. It may sound cliche, but it’s the truth. I want my work to affect someone in a positive way that may inspire them to succeed in their very own way. If I can always remember why I started and why I create art, I will always be successful. No matter what anyone says.
5. Tell us something about the projects you're currently working on.
Right now I’m working on a few different projects that are aimed towards high fashion clothing. I plan to release bigger videos to post on Youtube. Also, I am working on a new theme I want to start on Instagram that I haven’t seen much of before and it has to do with different eras for different months. This is probably going to be one of my biggest projects and I’m going to be extremely busy, but it’s what I love and I can’t wait to share.
