1. What is something not too many people know about you?
I'm technically labeled a photographer by most of the people I work with but I actually studied Cinematic Arts both in undergrad and grad school. So for one, not many people know that I went to grad school and two, by trade, my background is in videography which has helped a ton in recent project!
2. What are your biggest passions or hobbies?
I love art of all kinds, from painting to singing and broadway. I NEED art in my life to keep my passion for what I do alive and keep the creative juices flowing within me. Being in NY it's been great because there's so much artistic influence and Broadway is in my backyard so I'm always sure to catch a musical/play every month or so. On the flip side of that though, I played football in college and sports have been in my life ever since I could walk.
3. What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to open my own full service production house that caters to the NY and eventually LA markets. Overall though, I want to continue to grow and push the limits of what I thought I could do. I feel like sometimes I get so caught up in my work that I don't realize how far I've climbed and when I look up I surprise myself to how far I've come.
4. What is your definition of success?
Success to me is the ability to set goals that scare you and eventually overcome that fear and achieve those goals. With that being said though, I want to always make sure my character as a person and moral continue to never waver throughout the journey. So essentially, success to me is to continue to fill my bucket and then fill the buckets of the people around me.
5. Tell us something about the project you're currently working on.
So 2017 has been such an incredible year and I've had the opportunity to work with so many new and repeating clients. I currently produce both video and photo content for a few men's fashion brands in the NYC area. I'm in charge of churning out all of their content for social, website and advertising. On top of that I've gotten to work with bigger A-list brands on a freelance basis. On top of that, since I've been so blessed with the client base I've produced, I've been able to set things in motion to open up my own studio/office space this coming year. Things aren't set just yet but fingers crossed I'll have a big announcement in the coming months.
